Abstract

The study deals with the natural connection between the southern Arabpeninsula and the African horn (Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Somalia) duringthe 3rd - 1st millennium through the archaeological evidences and the civilizedexchange between both regions during this period.

The research too focuses on investigating a group of archaeologicalevidences found which represent that relationship which may go back to the 7thmillennium with corroborated existence within the 3rd millennium. Thus , theseevidences became improved more clearly during the period of ancient YemeniMamelukes like the trade of raw materials(Obsidianite) and Pottery, Inscription,

architecture and the process of taming in both regions. These evidencestoo confirmed the deepest civilized relationship between the southern Arabpeninsula and the African horn during theprehistoric period till the beginning of historic period..
