Abstract

This research aims to study one of the methods of human expression used by the Saudi poet Muhammad Hasan Faqi, through the use of color symbolism as a means of articulating his inner thoughts and feelings. This study clarifies the poet's awareness of the semiotics of color and its significance in textual contexts. The study is titled "Color in the Poetry of Muhammad Hasan Faqi: A Semiotic Study." The introduction provides a brief overview of the poet Muhammad Hasan Faqi and his poetic output. The study then addresses the concept of color both linguistically and terminologically. The first section discusses the manifestations of color in terms of vocabulary, while the second section examines the manifestations of color as a sign.
