This study examines the impact of ideology on the transmission of news by selected channels regarding developments in the Red Sea in Yemen. The analysis focuses on news coverage of escalated confrontations involving the restriction of ships linked to Israel as support for the Palestinian cause. Using the Skopos Theory, six political texts were analyzed across three news channels differing in geography and political orientation. The texts were assessed based on their relationship to political events and their geographical relevance. The study highlights how these texts, originally in Arabic, were transmitted into English, revealing significant ideological influences. Key findings show that news channels exhibit substantial manipulation, including amendments, deletions, and alterations of political texts to align with their ideological orientations.
