Abstract

The topic of the research relates to (the manifestation of the Yemeni heritage in the artistic visual discourse of young artists), identifying heritage forms and their manifestation in visual discourse, and how to employ them and stylistically formulate them within the topic of artistic visual discourse.

The research relies on the analytical study of intentional samples to achieve the goals. To achieve this, the researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach and the semiological approach (experimental and quasi-experimental) based on observation, and utilization a precise science to describe the intentional samples and analyze them according to the nature of the study. The research consists of four chapters that include the following:

Chapter One: Methodological procedures for the research. It includes an introduction and a presentation of the research problem, its limits, the objectives of the research and its importance, ending with defining the terms.

Chapter Two: Theoretical Framework. In this part, the researcher focuses on clarifying and defining inheritance and heritage, the difference between the two terms, identifying some types of heritage and its relationship to the artistic achievement, then the most important heritage references of Yemeni art.

Chapter Three: It contains the applied procedures, including the research community and sample selection procedures, with an explanation of the research methodology and tools. It also includes the analytical map of the samples and the biography of the artists, ending with the analysis and reading of intentional samples of the works of young artists.

Chapter Four: includes the results, footnotes, and research references. The research concluded with a set of results that achieve the goal and intent of the study.
