Abstract

The aim of this research is to study the structural patterns of the nominal sentence in the sayings and poems of Ali bin Zayed, and to show the extent of its agreement with the rules of classical Arabic. The researcher followed the descriptive analytical approach and it contained an introduction, and five sections each of them represented a pattern that has different images of the structure of the nominal sentence that doesn’t deal with Semi- auxiliary in the sayings and poems of Ali bin Zayed. A number of results were obtained from this research, including that the syntactic structure of the nominal sentence in the sayings of Ali bin Zayed was - in most general terms - in agreement with the structure of the Arabic sentence in fluent, and contradicting it in a few of the structures, such as entering (may) into nouns, including that The simple nominal sentence in his sayings was more used than the compound nominal sentence, and that the simple nominal sentence was often an expansive sentence, and in rare it was not expansive.
